About Us

Tangee Coleman, Director

With over 25 years of experience in education, I have a strong background in developing and implementing high-quality programs for children. For the past six years, I have served as Preschool Director, successfully transforming a Mom’s Day Out Program into a flourishing preschool and elementary school, resulting in significant enrollment growth and profoundly empowered families by strengthening the parent-child relationship. In addition, I served as Children’s Ministry Director, which allowed me to develop my leadership skills by managing diverse teams, coordinating impactful programs, and fostering meaningful connections with children and their families.

My heart lies in helping children discover themselves, guiding them to serve their purpose and be who God has called them to be. I am passionate about encouraging children to embrace their true selves by utilizing their unique gifts and talents.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education with an ESE Endorsement and am an active member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). I prioritize continuous professional development, holding credentials like the National Directors Credential, the Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential, and certifications in Trauma-Informed Care. Additionally, I have completed advanced coursework with various agencies related to education and leadership. This diverse experience and commitment to learning empower me to create exceptional programs for children and families, helping them grow.

Highly Qualified and Dedicated Educators

At BE Academy LLC, all teachers and support staff are credentialed professionals specializing in early childhood education. We prioritize continuous professional development, encouraging our team to participate in ongoing in-service training to stay informed about current societal trends and the evolving needs of the children in our community.

Our educators are required to meet rigorous qualifications, including successful completion of Level 3 background screenings and 40 hours of comprehensive training. This training encompasses CPR and first aid certification, child abuse prevention, and specialized instruction in special education, ensuring the highest standards of safety and care.
